Baraeva T. Resource of medicinal plants of Right-bank Steppe of the Dnipro.

The thesis is devoted to the study of the present state of the main species of wild medicinal plants of Krivoj Rog geobotanical region and their resources. The specificetion of species content of medicinal plants and ecological and phytocenotic attachments of the species have been studied. The causes of decrease of the species areas were defined and the measures on their conservation are proposed. Biological stocks for exploitation and the volume of annuary stocks were determined. The recommendation on rational utilization of the resources and rare and endangeous species of medicinal plants were developed. The maps of rare medicinal plants distribution were formed. The scheme of perspective medicinal plants for raw material stock was made. 40 species of studied plants are raw material utilized for scientific medicine. Amond them 18 species are perspective raw material stock. Harvesting of 43 species is impossible because of small amount and area of distribution. 12 species of officinal plants are rare,and need protection.
