Investigation objects: hyroxyflavone complexes with metal ions and boron-containing compounds. Purpose: investigation of criteria, which determine structure of the complexes, studies of their stability and spectral characteristics. Methods: NMR1Н, 13С, 11В,absorption and fluorescence (steady-state and time-resolved) spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, quantum chemical calculations. The structure of 3-hydroxyflavone and pentahydroxyflavone (quercetine) complexes with boron-containing compounds, as well as quercetine and metoxyquercetine complexes with metal ions have been established. The dependence between the structure of the complexes and metal ion parameters, as well as quantitative characteristics of metal complexes stability have been studied, too. The changes in ligand electronic structure during complexation process were also estimated. Degree of application: modification of flavone derivatives, fluorescent analysis of metal ions, identification of flavonoids.
