Object - ferroelastic phase transitions in double molibdates and cuprates of rare-earth and transition elements; goal -the analysis of mechanisms and characters of ferroelastic phase transitions occursing in this layered compounds; method - pulsing ultrasonic; results and novelty -elastic properties KSc(MoО4)2, СsDу1-xGdx(MoО4)2, KEr(MoО4)2 and Nd2-xCexCuО4 in a broad range of temperatures and magnetic fields were investigated, and the analysis of features of the be-havior of those compounds at ferroelastic phase transitions was performed. The phase diagram "concentration of rare-earth ions-temperature" for of crystals СsDу1-xGdx(MoО4)2 was con-structed. For the first time spontaneous and magnetic field-induced phase transitions at low temperatures in Nd2-xCexCuО4 were found. Phase diagrams "magnetic field-temperature" were constructed for a pure crystal and doped ones; employment - investigation of fundamental physical properties, new ferroelastic materials.
