Object - the diamond-abrasive tool and grinding process; the purpose - creation of fundamentals of designing of working surface of diamond-abrasive tools at fabrication stages and operation on the base of 3D statistical object-oriented modelling for expansion of technological potential of grinding difficult-to-cut materials; methods - theories of material cutting, designing of cutting tools, probability theory and mathematical statistics; novelty - for the first time scientifically proved bases of designing of working surface of diamond-abrasive tools are created; results - design of working surface of diamond-abrasive wheel with rational statistical characteristics for grinding concrete products of tool manufacture; it is introduced - the machine engineering plants, educational process; field of application - mechanical engineering.
