Buidin I. Morphobiological features of introduced astilbe cultivars (Astilbe Buch. Ham. ex D. Don) in the conditions of Ukrainian Forest-Steppe.

The dissertation is devoted to the study of morphobiological features of introduced astilbe cultivars (Astilbe Buch. Ham. ex. D. Don) in the conditions of Ukrainian Forest-Steppe. The astilbe world assortment was studied. The most common cultivars and their world basic introduction centres are established. The initial ontomorphogenesis points, season cycle and morphogenesis of monocarpic astilbe shoot in the conditions of Ukrainian Forest-Steppe was discovered. The astilbe seeds similarity dependence on the conditions of its storage is determined. Recommendations on the complex estimation of cultivars of drought-resistance, duration of the astilbe inflorences in a cut flower-ornamentness conservation, seed storage and seedling planting during the first year of vegetation are worked out. For the first time the scale of inflorences in a cut flower-ornamentness estimation and the scale of cultivars drought-resistance visual estimation was developed. The introductive study of 44 astilbe cultivars was carried out.
