Essay

The dissertation deals with the development of methods for post-repair testing and direct current generators performance determination in dynamic conditions. The mathematical description of processes in the direct current machine in dynamic conditions has been specified on the basis of uniform complex idea about energy distribution in the direct current machine in various control conditions taking into account electromagnetic, mechanical and electrical loss. Five basic characteristics of the direct current generator (idling, short-circuit, external, regulating and loading) are determined in dynamic conditions without additional driving devices application. The method for excitation winding electromagnetic parameters determination taking into account the nonlinear nature of the magnetization curve, hystere-sis and eddy currents has been developed. The method for machine heating conditions equivalentization taking into account mechanical, copper and iron losses has been developed on the basis of regulations for instantaneous power distribution in the electric machine design in dynamic conditions. It has been developed the structure of the testing complex for the realization of direct current generator dynamic loads with specified level of losses and dynamic loads for generators standard performance determination based on the actual indexes of energy distribution into machine.
