Kharadzjan A. DC Machines Postrepair Diagnostics and Certification Taking Into Account Armature Steel State

The dissertation deals with the problems of DC machines diagnostics, testing techniques after their overhaul taking into account armature steel properties changing. General characteristics of armature steel losses in DC machines taking into account steel edge in the armature teeth region are determined. The technique for losses determination in DC machines armature steel at postrepair testing is developed and grounded. The degree of armature steel losses effect on the electric machine vibration is determined. The heat model of the machine is developed taking into account eddy-currents losses distribution in the areas of teeth surfaces damage is developed. The technique for postrepair ratings determination is developed on the basis of the technique for armature steel losses determination and the heat model.
