The dissertation deals with the development of a method to control power parameters of a drilling rig rotor diesel drive. The method is based on estimating rotation speed of crankshafts of diesel units of drilling rig power drive and rotor table rotating speed. There has been suggested a new method of control of power parameters of drilling rig rotor diesel drive. The method allows to control in real time power parameters of a drilling rig rotor diesel drive, making it possible to avoid complications and failures in the process of drilling and to increase bet deepening as well as mechanical speed of drilling trip
