Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of mathematical bases and software for design automation processes of communication networks development. Tree-layer graph model of communication network is modified in order to describe various principles of signal transmission and converting. Criterions system for multifold estimation of communication line or communication network is proposed. These criterions are used to analyze network structure and functioning in order to perform existent network monitoring and to choose the best design decisions during its development process. Heuristic method for determination of rational path connection of two network points is suggested. It is used in conditions of network disconnectedness and high-dimension problems. Heuristic method for new devices’ disposition and their characteristics selection during network development is suggested. Mathematical model for technological process design of network development works execution is proposed. This model is intended for primary economical estimation of design decisions. Development project effectiveness estimation method is suggested. It is based on simulation model of environment that influences on the system and leads to real project deviation from calculated project. Decision-making support CAD subsystem for communication network design is developed.
