Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of the methods of the leakage currents values and in-fluence minimization methods, and the system for mining electrical installations up to 1200 V insu-lation resistance control and their protection from the leakage currents, providing electrical and op-eration safety increase. It is shown that in the local networks up to 1200 V the values of the leakage currents caused by the physical parameters of the electrical supply system and the duration the currents flowing reach values when the personnel safety can be provided simultaneousely with the insulation active resistance control and the circuits protective disconnection, use of the automatic capacitive compo-nent compensation devices, and protective grounding of the damaged phase. There is given a theoretical basics of the leakage currents effect minimization principles, and the estimation of the electrical and fire protection conditions. There are presented the results of the protective disconnection devicefor the local networks up to 1200 V creation, a theoretical basics and practical realization of the method of the network phase with insulation damaged discovering, the results of development of the method and device for capacitance measuring and automatic ad-justing of the capacitance leakage currents compensation mode; functional and principal diagrams of the leakage currents protection system for the mining networks up to 1200 V, and substantiation of application field of the leakage currents protection apparatus of AZUR type widening.
