Kryklyva S. Morphobiological Peculiarities of Annual Species of Trifolium L. Genus in Connection with their Cultivation in the Central Part of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine

The dissertation deals with the results of investigations of biology of development and morphological peculiarities of the annual Trifolium alexandrinum L. and Trifolium apertum Bobr. species of clover under the conditions of the central Right-bank Forest - steppe zone of Ukraine. The terms of beginning and duration of phenologic phases of the plants have been fixed. Peculiarities of their shoot formation, root system, and formation order of tubercles anatomic and morphologic characteristics of the leaves were examined.Peculiarities of their blossom and seed production, biological inequality of the inflorescences formed on the side shoots of different orders and their seed production were studied. Productive potentiality of T. alexandrinum and T. apertum within the conditions of the cultivation area was stated. Necessity of introduction of the annual Trifolium species into agricultural cultivation has been scientifically grounded and practical recommendations concerning advances in their technologicalproductivity have been elaborated.
