Essay

The object - lipid structure of plasmatic membranes of enterocytes in gopher intestine in the state of vital activities and hibernation and in the period of these animals awakening. The purpose-to establish lipid structure of apical and basolateral membranes of enterocytes in gopher intestine in the state of vital activities, in the state of hibernation and awakening. The methods - centrifugation (reception of cells and division of their structures into fractions), homogenization (reception of suspension of cells), microscopy (integrity of cells and photographing of membranes); gravimetric method (weighing of an extract lipids); chemistry-analytical methods: TLC (reception of the common and fractions phospholipid, cholesterol), gas liquid (division of separate methyl ethers of fat acids) chromatography; a statistical - analytical method. The results -qualitative composition of individual phospholipids in the period of hibernation and on coming out of it is not changed. The content of cholesterol in apical and basolateral membranes of enterocytes in gopher intestine during hibernation, in comparison with active state of vital activities of the animal raises while in the period of gopher awakening the content of cholesterol in these membranes decreases to the indices which correspond to it in the active state of vital activities. At that time, molar ratio between the cholesterol and phospholipids content in the state of hibernation in apical membrane of enterocytes of gopher intestine decreases, and in basolateral - remains almost unchangeable. On coming out of the state of hibernation the content of cholesterol raises both in apical and in basolateral membranes. In the state of active vital activities the content of saturated fatty acids in lipids of plasmatic membranes of epithelium in gopher intestine is higher in comparison with unsaturated. This regularity remains under hibernation and on coming out of it. The content of lipids in comparison with the content of total protein proved really to raise in plasmatic membrane of fleecy enterocytes of epithelium in gopher intestine under hibernation in apical membrane, and on awakening of these animals the content of lipids in apical membrane really decreases in comparison with the content of total protein. But in basolateral membrane during all periods of vital activities of gopher the ratio lipid/protein remains unchangeable. The sphere of using - biochemistry, physiology, veterinary and humane medicine.
