Essay

The object of our investigation is the protracted influence of the small doses of ionizing radiation of the cattle. The goal of the work is to define the morphological state of organs of urinary systemў's animals, which were born, and have been constantly living under conditions of the radioactive polluted territory. The methods of the investigation are as follows: clinicoanatomical, radiological, hematological, histological, histochemical, morphometrical, statistical by means of necessary reagents and devices which have come through proper standardization. The scientific novelty: the complex investigation by macro- and histological levels defined the morphofunctional state of the urinary system organs of cattle, raised in the polluted by the radionuclides territory, which to permit feasible estimation action of low dozes of radiation by animal raised in natural condition. Primary investigation the morphological state of the ureter, urinary bladder and the urethra of low doses of radiation. In organs of the urinary systems development of pathological and recompensation and adaptation process were the most evident in 5-6 years old animal. The results of investigation have been introduced into educational process and into scientific investigations at the departments of Anatomy, Histology and Pathological Anatomy of some higher schools in Ukraine. They also may be used for the working out of treatment-and-prophylactic measures as to young cattle that is raised under the conditions of constant action of little doses of radiation.
