Essay

Object of research is the bloodsucking mosquitoes Ae. vexans as a component of biocenoses in the conditions of flood oak woods of the steppe Prydniprovje. The aim is to investigating the ecological and biological, and consortive peculiarities of Aedes vexans existence in the conditions of flood oak woods of the steppe Prydniprovje. Methods - generally accepted techniques, statistical processing of outcomes (methods correlation, dispersion and cluster analysis). The morphological parameters of Aedes vexans were analyzed at all phases of development, and the modern trends in the populations of these bloodsuckers were shown. The conditions of larvae hatching out of egg were established in the laboratory. The biotopes of development of the preimaginal phases of the species were studied. The trophoconsortive relations of carnivores and larvae parasites were examined. An ecological spectrum of Aedes vexans larvae was studied for the investigated area. The consortive relations of Aedes vexans larvae were determined in different biotopes of their development. The day shelters, the seasonal dynamics of age-groups, the gonotrophic age and fecundity, the seasons dynamics of an active attack of the bloodsucker's imago were identified and studied. The biological and ecological factors affecting them, were established. The trophoconsortive relations and Aedes vexans imago's carnivores in the flood oak woods of the rivers Samara and Dnipro were investigated. For the first time in the flood oak woods of the steppe Prydniprovje a sanitary-epidemic significance of Aedes vexans mosquitoes has been analyzed. Two strains of the Western Nile virus and one strain of Tyahinya virus were distinguished. Spheres of use are the advancing of measures on strife with infection contaminations, training courses.
