Essay

In the dissertation weak coercivity criteria for a system of miminal differential operators in the isotropic (anisotropic) Sobolev spaces are obtained. Wide classes of weakly coercive but nonelliptic (nonquasielliptic respectively) systems are indicated. Sufficient conditions for a system of maximal differential operators without mixed derivatives to have the space of subordinated operators of minimal possible dimension are found. Wide classes of such systems are also indicated.
