Essay

The objects of research - the fermentative processes and nitrogen metabolism in rumen, digestibility of nutritives, assimilation of nitrogen and mineral substances of forage, processes of metabolism in blood and activity of growth in calves, which were fed since the first month of life with ammonium bicarbonate itself and in combination with perlite; the purpose - to determine the influence of adding the ammonium bicarbonate itself and in combination with perlite to compound feedingstuff for calves, since the first month of their life, on fermentative activity and nitrogen metabolism in the rumen, digestibility and assimilation of nutritives and mineral substances of forage, processes of metabolism in blood and activity of their growth; methods - biochemical, physicochemical, zootechnik, statistical, economic; the results -There were established the increase of ammonia utilization by microorganisms and increase of celluloselytic activity of microorganisms under the influence of ammonium bicarbonate itself and in combination with perlite. There also was determined the increase of levels of nutritives digestibility, nitrogen and mineral substances assimilation and activity of growth in calves; novelty -for the first time there was studied the influence of adding the ammonium bicarbonate since the first month of their life, on fermentative processes and ammonia formation in rumen, metabolitic blood type, digestibility and assimilation of nutritives and mineral substances of forage and activity of calves growth; applied in farms of Sokalsky and Kamianko-Buzky regions; the field of application is biology and farm animals feeding.
