Holovach I. Analysis of Informative Parameters and Development of Automatic Control System for Extraction Process

The subject-matter of the thesis is creation of new and improvement of the existing systems of automatic control of beet sugar extraction process which enable fast adaptation of control actions to real conditions of exploitation with respect to a chosen optimization criterion. There have been proposed two approaches to the building of automatic control systems for controlling state of cut beet mixture in the extractor on the basis of the technological criterion of optimality. In the first one, the structure of the regulator forming the corrective action in case of fluctuation of the mode parameter has been proposed. The second one is based on the theory of fuzzy sets, and the control system created, on the basis of technological parameters, forms the signal of setting the mode parameter as well as ensures realization of the corresponding corrective action, even if the system parameters change. The main outcomes of the work have been technologically approved at Horokhiv and Radekhiv Sugar Plants and introduced into training tasks for students.
