Essay

An object is the interaction process of helicopter rotor and air, which it flows. A purpose is creation of computation method of helicopter rotor aerodynamic characteristics in the wide range of the regimes, including critical. A research method is the numerical modeling. Novelty - the numerical method of computation of the allocated and total aerodynamic characteristics of a helicopter rotor, built on the basis of vortex blade theory, with modeling of blades by thin lifting surfaces, and blade element theory, is improved; the method of dynamics task decision of the blades that hinge or resiliently fastened is built; influence of nonlinearity by angle of attack and Mach number of aerodynamic characteristics of airfoils, which compose a blade, is taken into account; possibility to explore the causes of the local separate flow and their influence on aerodynamic characteristics of rotor is got; the critical regimes of rotors flow of serial helicopters are explored. Results - an algorithm and program of computation of aerodynamic characteristics of a helicopter rotor in the wide range of the flight regimes is developed; methodical researches are conducted; authenticity of the results is confirmed. Introduction in the educational training of KAFU and in science research are realized. The field is an aviation technique.
