Essay

The data of an local heat transfer by liquid film evaporation flowing down on horizontal cross-finned tubes was obtained first. The main factors influence on heat transfer was disclosed. Results had summarized in empirical equations for calculations of the heat transfer on a starting heat zone and average heat transfer from tube wall to liquid film. The work results is using to design new distilling and water-desalinating plants.
