Essay

The dissertation is devoted to development of the general theory of front form-milling cutters designing. The theory of detail's surface forming under the processing by front cutters is developed; output instrumental surfaces under the processing of from-milling cylindrical surfaces by these instruments, surfaces of rotation and screw surfaces of constant pitch are defined. The task of geometrics defining of cutting part of front form-milling cutters with the cylindrical rear surface, with rear surface of rotation which are relieved on the Archimedes's screw and the circle is solved. The theory of front form-milling cutters' profiling was developed according to the analysis of possible position and form of front and rear surfaces. The influence of cutter's design factors on the geometry down the cutting edge is determined.
