Uska U. Ukrainian problem in Galicia in the policy of the Austrian rule in 1907-1914.

In the thesis the complex study of different factors of the policy of Austrian rule in Ukrainian national question and the features of its realisation and its influence on social and political life in Galicia in the period from 1907 to 1914 years is realised. Various aspects of the formation of the relationship between official Vienna and the representatives of Galician Ukrainians; attempts of central authorities to regulate Polish-Ukrainian relationship are investigated in the thesis. The influence of the official Vienna on the realisation of the programmes of Ukrainian political parties is revealed; and the changes of Austrian state factors vision of the tasks of the Ukrainian national movement are observed; and the attitude of Austrian authorities to political fight in Galician Ukrainians community is shown.
