Essay

The work is aimed at comprehensive study of kinetics of heat and mass transfer and hydrodynamic processes in a pulsating dispergator, in which the power DPEI effects occur, with regard to the intensification of mixing and homogenization of clay suspensions for drilling fluid production. The feature of variation of reological characteristics and water return factor of clay suspensions during their processing in the device was also investigated in the work. A mathematical model was developed that describes both gas and liquid non-stationary flows in the pulsing dispergator tracks. A scale-up method was proposed for design a pilot pulsating dispergator on the base of the lab unit in relation to industrial use. The construction details of the pilot device that was treated and commercialized in industry, as well as the optimal processing regimes are considered in detail.
