3. The Object of research - young and mature rats of Wistar line, after the influence of different contents of fluorine in drinking water, double-sided ovariectomy and prescription of basic osteoprotecting medicines, children's and adult’s population of southern Ukraine and Moldova Republic, living in the conditions of different fluorine content in drinking water. The purpose – to improve the methods of diagnostics and preventing of structural-functional disorders of bone in population, living in ecologically unfavorable conditions (regions with high fluorine content in drinking water) depending on age, sex and fluorine content in drinking water. Methods of research – general clinical, neuroorthopaedic and anthropometric, questionnaire design (WHO inquirer, Mac-Gill inquirer, combined with visual-analog scale, questionnaire for defining peculiarities of factual nutrition), roentgendensitometry of palm using ARM “Osteolog”, ultrasound densitome-try using device “Ahilles+”, investigation of physical and sexual development, partial biological age of bone and the level of its development, statistical processing of information. New knowledge: the role of gently heightened fluorine con-tent in drinking water on the development of structural-functional disorders of bone on the background of estrogen deficit, osteoprotecting properties of calcium agent of III generation (calcemin) were defined. Age-specific peculiarities of physical development, peak of bone mass formation, structural-functional condition of bone, prevalence of osteopenic syndrome and os-teoporosis among population, living in the region with high con-tent of fluorine in drinking water were defined at first time. The role of factual nutrition disbalance in the development of struc-tural-functional disorders of bone in this contingent was defined. Roentgendensitometric characteristics of bone in population, living in the conditions of high fluorine content in drinking water, was defined. The efficacy of calcium agent of III generation (cal-cemin)in preventing of structural-functional disorders of bone in children, living in the conditions of high fluorine content in drink-ing water, was investigated; the characteristics of structural-functional condition of bone, physical and sexual maturation in children of southern region of Ukraine, in adults of different age and sex, living in the conditions of high fluorine content in drink-ing water, were defined; diagnostic possibilities of ARM “Oste-olog” in the estimation of structural-functional condition of bone in the population of Odessa region, working out and probing of effective complex system of preventing of structural-functional disorders of bone in population, living in settlement with high fluorine content in drinking water, were defined. The results of investigation have been using in the lecture course on the chair of therapy and geriatrics of KMAPE, courses of information and probation “Geriatric orthopaedics with the fundamentals of man-ual therapy”, which program was worked out in collaboration with International Center of Rehabilitation (Canada) and con-firmed by European Regional Bureau of WHO. The results of conducted investigation were applied in clinical practice in Insti-tute of Geriatrics AMS of Ukraine (Kiev), SRI of marine medi-cine (Odessa), Lugansk Medical Institute (Lugansk), in Ukrain-ian, Dunaj, Odessa, Lugansk scientific-medical centers of osteo-porosis problems.
