3. Object of research - Slipped capital femoral epiphysis. The purpose - A theoretical model substantiated for the mechanism of appearance and development of pathological changes in femur proximal part under juvenile epiphysis. Methods of research: clinical, biochemical, X-ray, Mr-tomography and electronic microscopy. On the basis of comprehensive study of SCFE patients’ peculiar constitution and the results of biochemical assays causal-consecutive connections have been found between SCFE and endocrine pathologies. For the first time on the basis of X-ray, Mr-tomography and electronic microscopy new knowledge obtained as regards structural changes of osseous tissue at femur proximal part under SCFE that were predecessors for destruction of epiphysial-metaphysial connection. A method proposed for measurement of epiphysial- jugular angle using a series of topographic images scanned in horizontal and sagittal projections and corrected for external rotation of the proximity in order to specify the value ofdominating bias. It has been found that the morphological cortical index may be used to evaluate structural changes at femur proximal part under juvenile epiphysis at various of disease. A theoretical model substantiated for the mechanism of appearance and development of pathological changes in femur proximal part under juvenile epiphysis. Basic pathogenetically substantiated treatments developed for SCFE depending on the character of course of disease and alterations in X-ray indices of femur proximal deformation.
