Zhornik N. Activity of scientific and technical shool of professor M.F.Semko in a context of development of a sience about cutting materials in Ukraine

Object - formation and development of material cutting science; purpose - integrated historical and scientific analysis of activity of M.F.Semko's research school, definition of its place in development of material cutting science; methods - problem-chronological, dialectical-logical, systemic, analysis and synthesis, period definition, historical and biographical, analytical and inductive, statistical, bibliometrical, interviewing, etc.; novelty - integrated analysis of activity of prof. M.F.Semko's research school is carried out for the first time, author's definition of research school is formulated, historical and scientific picture of material cutting evolution is reconstructed; its new periods are proposed, full bibliographic list of leader's works, and also list of thesis, defended under his leadership is entered for the first time into the scientific circulation; results - contribution and role of M.F.Semko's research school in development of material cutting science and engineering educationis investigated, characteristic features of leader of new type and features of research school are shown, scientific development of Ukrainian scientists of the middle of ХІХ-XX centuries are analyzed, cause-and-effect relations of spaces of accelerated development of material cutting are established; it is introduced - into educational process of 4 technical universities of Ukraine; branch - mechanical engineering, science and technics history.
