Essay

The regularities and mechanisms of nucleation and growth of ion sputtered metals and carbon vacuum condensates were investigated. Stationary nonequilibrium condensation was realized at superweak vapor stream deposition or intensive stream inside hollow cathode. There were determined formation of metastable amorphous phase, highly porous structures with various "architecture" and different carbon allotropic modifications; titanium catalyst role in diamond formation.
