Pshenichny I. Extension of the Technological Opportunities of Parts Treatment in Vibrating Containers

The thesis investigates the solution of scientific and technical problem of vibration equipment technological opportunities extension by means of selection of rational parameters of vibro-grinding process aimed at split piston rings deburring, rounding off the sharp edges, and chamfering. Conditions of split piston rings arranged in the block on the mandrel non-interlacing as well as the possibility of rings having different chamfers section formation and change of container movement track are determined on the basis of vibro-treatment process analysis. Values of main parameters which influence on the process of rings vibro-grinding are determined experimentally. Oil capacity and roughness of treated surfaces are evaluated. Design of the special machine-tool and device as well as technology of finishing treatment of piston rings allowing for the creation of an item having required operational qualities are developed on the basis of the investigation results.
