Essay

Object of research are electrochemical and analytical properties of Co(II), Ni(II), Pd(II) ions in the presence of o,o'-dihydroxysubstitution azodyes. The aim of investigation is elaboration of sensitive and selective voltammetric method of Co(II), Ni(II), Pd(II) determination with the use of different structure azodyes. Voltammetic behavior of two azodyes, calcone and calcese, has been studied. Sencitive and well-reproductive methods of calcese and calcone determination (Clow=10-6mol/l) have been proposed using the linear dependence I -Cazodye, which lines in wide concentration region. The process of complex formation of Co(II), Ni(II) and Pd(II) with eriochrom red B, eriochom black T, calcone, calcese and tropeoline O has been investigated. The compositions and stability of the complex compounds have been established. Using the performed investigations the voltammetric methods of Co(II), Ni(II) and Pd(II) determination from aqueous solution with Clow ~ 10-7 M have been elaborated. The elaborated methods of voltammetric determination of Co(II), Ni(II) and Pd(II) were tested for palladium determination in condensers and Pd-In coverings of orthopedic materials; cobalt determination in vitamin B12 and Er-Co-B alloys; nickel determination in Er-Ni-B and Fe-Ni-Cr alloys. Also the migration of Ni(II) and Pd(II) into model solutions from the alloys and coverings, used in orthopedic stomatology has been studied.
