Object - determination of resources and peculiarities of curing of medical raw material of some kinds of wild medical plant; finding of expediency of calendula cultivation using various fertilizer systems under conditions of radioactive contamination of Zhytomyr Polissya. Goal - to determine the resource and expediency of curing of medical raw materials of some kinds and agrarian medical plants common in Zhytomyr Polissya area; to determine the growing of calendula under conditions of radioactive contamination. Methods: the traditional methods of geo-botanical research, laboratory-field methods and methods of mathematical analysis. Theoretical results: there was determined the productivity of some kinds of wild medical plants and effectiveness of fertilizer systems, liming, their independent and complex effect on calendula productivity and its accumulation of radio nuclides. Practical results: there was developed the propositions regarding possibilities of the annual manufacturing curing of medical plants considering their inexhaustible exploitation and manufacturing growing of calendula; the author designated the ultimate density of soil contamination by radio cesium under which the receipt of ecologically safe raw materials is possible. Novelty - there was determined the resources of wild medical plants; the author specified the most effective elements of technology of industrial growing of calendula and peculiarities of reception of ecologically safe raw materials of medical plants under conditions of radioactive contamination.
