Essay

Thesis is devoted to increasing of durability of white high-chromium cast irons working in shock-and-abrasive deterioration conditions. For the first time it has been studied the kinetics for cast iron solidificated at different cooling rates and isothermal and thermo-kinetics graphs of supercooled austenite transformation have been drawn. It has been also demonstrated the inheritance connection of phase transformations kinetics in solid state with basic as-cast structure of examined cast iron. It has been demostrated that during the process of shock-and-abrasive deterioration of cast iron ИЧХ16НМФТ one can observe redistribution of alloying elements. It causes structural changes and hardening of cast iron.
