Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problems of construction of the numerical models of electromagnetic waves' diffraction on periodic structures. A new numerical method of the solution of the problem of electromagnetic wave diffraction on multielement grating is developed. The grating is located in a piecewise- homogeneous medium and consists of arbitrary-shaped elements. A new algorithm for periodic Green function calculation is elaborated. For the first time it is proposed to model the interface between two mediums as an element of a grating.
