Essay

The object of the research - the metabolism of lipids in the brain of a carp under the influence of high concentration of heavy metals in water. The aim of the research is to investigate the influence of the ions of copper, lead, zinc and manganese on the level, changes and metabolism of lipids in the brain of a carp and to determine the mechanisms of stability formation of neural tissue under the toxic influence of heavy metals. The methods of study used: biochemical, biophysical and variational-statistical. The practical importance: indices of the level of lipids, phospholipids and free fatty acids of brain may serve as a basis for the development of express methods that determine biochemical damage in the fish caused by toxicants and the evaluation of the quality of water environment.
