Essay

The thesis is devoted to development of mathematical models of detonation spraying of coatings (DSC) process, investigation on its bases of behaviour of a spraying powder particles and creation methods for rational operating practices selection and reduction of costs in technological processes (TP) of DSC development. The structure scheme of complex modeling of DSC processes was developed and input and output parameters of the models of main DSC stages were chosen, and its intercommunication was determined. Model of generation of impulse jet of gaseous detonation products was proposed. Mathematical model, describing a physics of interaction of powder particles and products of detonation inside a barrel of detonation unit and in an external space, was developed. Correspondent software package was developed and numerical investigations of physical processes, proceeding in detonation spraying, were carried out. Principles for creation a decision support system (DSS) for technology development of the DSC TP were proposed. Developed and program-realized information storage and retrieval system for gas-thermal coating selection, and method of optimal DSC process variables determination, based on genetic algorithm, are the parts of a DSS as subsystems. Recommendations for creation of complex automated control system for DSC technological process were presented.
