Essay

Object: management processes of assortment policy at machine-building plants. Aim: working out of theoretical foundations and forming of methodical recommendations for the assortment policy methods and effective management of output goods at ma-chine-building plants. Methods: marketing analysis and bunching, statistical analysis methods, theories of slipshod set, expert judgement and content analysis principles. Theoretical and practical results: were worked out theoretical and methodical prerequisites of a new, more perfect model for optimal machine-building products structure determination, based on the slipshod set theory, which is founded on domestic and foreign impact factors intercommunications, and its application allows plants to expand marketing out-lets, to cut down production expenditures, to reach return and profitability level expansion. Newness: for the first time it was worked out a methodical ap-proach to the production assortment forming based on the slipshod set theory which is used for the goods positions' profitability margin determination, it allows to form commodity classification of the plant more effectively. Results are applied in industry at concern "Kryukovsky Vagonzavod", Joint Stock Company "Kremenchug wheel plant" and Joint Stock Company "Kredmash". Range of application: in economical and production fields of machine-building plants.
