Essay

This work is based on data of examinations of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) during 12-month treatment of leflunomide (LF), sodium aurothiomalate (SA) and methotrexate (MTX). The results obtained testify to low term LF application before SA and MTX treatment in terms of slowing the X-ray progression as well as to renewal of functional ability and increased frequency of the remission of the disease. The places of magnetic resonance imaging in early and later stages of RA. An application field is a clinical medicine. The results have been applied in practice of medical institutions
