The subject of research is the process of images segmentation; the goal of research is creation of mathematical models of half-tone images segmentation of digital microscopy objects for automation and exactness increase of this process; The methods of research are fundamentals of matrix algebra, theory of algorithm, mathematical analysis, theory of digital processing, graph theory, mathematical statistics; theoretical and practical results are mathematical model of connectivity sign, method of design of half-tone images segmentation process on the basis of connectivity, homogeneity predicate for the process of segmentation on the basis of connectivity, method of improvement of images segmentation result at the considerable crossings of brightness distribution, software for the design of half-tone medical images segmentation process on the basis of connectivity; the degree of application is within the limits of the scientific branch; the application sphere (branch) is the systems of the digital images processing.
