Object: locally anharmonic and ferroelectric systems. Aim: description of field effects in many-state quantum systems of order-disorder type. Methods: Hubbard operators, coherent potential approximation, Matsubara Green's functions. Results: the role of vacancy field and the effects of the single-ion anisotropy field as well as the external transverse fields were studied. Inculcation: scientific publications. Application: theory of locally anharmonic compounds of order-disorder type.
