Essay

This work is based on data of examinations and treatment of patients with vertebral haemangioma (VH) by percutaneous vertebroplasty (PV). For the first time to determine the level of aggressiveness of VH the author has used MR-spectroscopy. The optimal algorithm of diagnostic the VH has been determined. The indications and contra-indications for PV have been grounded; peculiarities of treatment depending on the level of affection and character of spreading and delayed results of treatment of patients operated on aggressive VH by PV have been studied. An application field is a clinical medicine. The results have been applied in practice of medical institutions.
