Essay

Dissertation is devoted to morphologic diagnostics thyroid diseases with malignancy markers. It was estimated a diagnostic efficacy of combined use of standard cytology, thyroid peroxidase immunocytochemistry with monoclonal antibody 47 and dipeptidyl-aminopeptidase IV staining in diagnosis of thyroid nodules. Combined use of these markers increases the accuracy of FNA. These techniques can be used not only to select the patients with thyroid nodules for surgery but also to estimate the extent of resection required.
