Essay

The work deals with the study of immediate and distant results of treatment of the lumbar disc herniation using mininvasive methods, such as microdiscectomy by W. Caspar (1977), endoscopic microdiscectomy by Destandau (1992), laser vaporization P.Ascher (1988). Based on the generalized results of complex investigation of 300 patients with the hernia of lumbar discs, which were subjected to miniivasive surgical treatment. Patients were divided in two groups: controlled and examined group. There were 150 cases in each group. The patients from the first group were operated without developed indications, and people from the examined group were operated with developed indications. We distinguished the hernias by shape, size and localization. The better results we got in the second (examined) group. The analysis of the each method showed his strong and weak sides, determined the indications for them. The most important criterions are the level of the pain syndrome, hernia's localization and the shape, anamnesis lengthiness. As a result of complex complex investigation of 300 patients with the hernia of lumbar discs, we developed very sharp surgical indications for each method.
