Essay

Structural phase transformations of martensitic type. To investigate the dynamic properties of coherent phase boundaries under martensitic transformations. The research technique is methods of the non-equilibrium thermodynamics. Equations of heterophase system evolution during martensitic transformation in dissipative continuum are obtained. The forces of a phase boundary drag caused by dynamic excitation of elastic and thermal waves are determined. The application field is shape memory materials.
