Object - patients with chronic aortic insufficiency; methods - clinical, instrumental (echocardiography, electrocardiography), statistical; novelty - peculiarities of structure-functional abnormalities of aortic valve apparatus and left ventricle was determined; using stress-echocardiography latent systolic dysfunction in some of patient was maintained; dynamic changes of aortic regurgitation degree, left ventricular structure and function was studied prospectively in patients treated by angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor fosinopril and calcium antagonist amlodipine; criteria of prognosis of aortic valve and left ventricular structure-functional abnormalities progression was revealed; results - differential method of aortic regurgitation degree assessment was maintained; risk factors of aortic valve and left ventricular structure-functional abnormalities progression was fixed; branch - medicine.
