Peleshko A. Establishment of Independent Greek State: 1797-1844.

The dissertation deals with the formation of the Greek State from the period of the creation of the Republic of Seven United Islands up to the establishment of the Constitutional Monarchy: 1797-1844. Moreover, premises, special features and trends for intensification of the national liberation movement of the Greeks against Ottoman Empire are ascertained there too. Creation of the Republic of Seven United Islands - the first independent formation on the territory of the Greek land - is determined to become a significant stage in the state formation and incentive to liberation movement in Greece. The first steps to the state-making were determinated: convocation of the first National Meetings, adoption of the Constitutional and "Declaration of Independence". Special features of organizing and operation the statehood institutions of the young country are depicted there. It was elicited that using the "national lands" as a guarantee for European States Lending led Greece to economic and political dependence on them. It was also proved that the establishment of the Greek state had produced complex processes which took place both on the Balkan Peninsula and in European Eastern region.
