Essay

In thesis nonlinear structures, waves and solitons of various type in thin elastic plates and at surface of elastic half-space as well as the nonlinear substance covered with a thin film are considered. Simple models for the description of the nonlinear phenomena in such multivariate elastic environments with the restricted spatial geometry are formulated and the corresponding nonlinear non-local equations are consistently derived. The njnlinear solutions are found and analyzed.
