Essay

The dissertation deals with the essence, tendencies and stages of changes in the structure, form and methods of legislative and executive bodies of power and their functioning. Their role in establishing of the principles of democracy and liberty in the process of building of independent Ukraine has been shown. The research has been carried out on the basis of historiography analysis.The documents which determined or regulated the forms of activity and the status of the parliament as the legislative body of power in the legal field have been analyzed. Conceptual and legal, strategical principles which influenced the process of state building and were the basis for the formation of the normative and legislative documents from 1991 till 2005 have been exposed.
