Essay

A new solution of an actual scientific and technical problem of increasing efficiency of fire safety of objects by way of introduction of hardly combustible materials that do not spread flame by surface, have moderate smoke forming ability, and are moderately toxic is presented in the dissertation work. Decreasing of amount of combustible gases in the mixtures of volatile products of thermal destruction of specimens of wood having been protected from fire and biological deterioration has been revealed experimentally. Calculation of speed of heat evolution at combustion of materials and estimation of influence of heat flow upon wood protected from fire has been carried out. Combined influence of an ecologically safe and water proof medium based on salt fire retardant, polymer antiseptic, and water-repellent mixtures upon fire danger properties of wood has been revealed and experimentally researched.
