Essay

Work is devoted to research of laws of formation in alloys on the basis of iron of structures which are strengthened by phosphides, and to development on this basis of a new class of surfacing materials which have increased tribotechnical properties. It is experimentally established, that the factor of friction of surfaced metal 20KhGSP at increase in the content of phosphorus up to 1 % is reduced approximately at 1,5 times. At the contents of phosphorus 1,0...1,6 % deterioration of surfaced sample is reduced at 4,0...4,5 times, and counterbodies from steel 45 at 1,5 times. It is established, that at self-shielding and submerged-arc (flux AN-348A) surfacing using flux-cored wire of PP-Np-20KhGSP practically all phosphorus is acquired by surfaced metal. At surfacing of rigid technological test it is shown, that in surfaced metal 20KhGSP cold cracks are formed at the contents of phosphorus > 1,3 %. Cold cracks appear and spreaded in the locations of fragile phosphide eutectics which are allocated at such contents of phosphorus at borders of grains. Trial check of the developed flux-cored wire PP-Np-20KhGSP at surfacing of crane wheels has shown, that their wear resistance has increased at 1,5...2,0 times in comparison with serial wheels from steel 65G. Economic benefit of use of the flux-cored wire PP-Np-20KhGSP for surfacing of wheels of one bridge crane makes 3150 UAN/year.
