Essay

The object are women in their peri- and postmenopausal periods with osteoarthritis of knee joints; the purpose to perfect diagnostics and medical treatment of osteoarthritis of knee joints in women in their peri- and postmenopausal periods on the basis of study of clinical and X-rays features of stream of disease, the structural-functional state of bone tissue; the methods are clinical, X-rays osteodensitometry, ultrasonic osteodensitometry, electromyography, reovazography and statistical; the novelty consists in that the features of the structural-functional state of bone tissue are definite depending on the stage of osteoarthritis of knee joints and postmenopausal period duration; quantitative method and equipment for X-ray diagnostics and monitoring of osteoarthritis of knee joints, which allow objectively to estimate and standardize the results, were proved; differentiated approach is offered in relation to medical treatment of osteoarthritis of knee joints depending on expressed of clinic and X-rays displays, structural-functional state of bone tissue, features of stream and of postmenopaouzalnogo period duration; the results consist in developed some methods and equipment for X-ray diagnostics and monitoring of osteoarthritis of knee joints; in the differentiated approach to treating osteoarthritis of knee joints has been developed and pathogenetically conditioned, taking into account haemodynamic disorders, presence of trigger points of myofascial zones in knee joints, structural and functional state of bone tissue; two declarative patents of Ukraine are got on the invention; the fild is medicine
