Object - aliphatic amines, sodium selenit, rat, liver, blood, mitochondria, microcosmic fraction of liver. Purpose - is dedicated to the investigation of oxidative phosphorylation processes and tissue respiration in liver mitochondria, enzyme activity of anti-oxidant protection, non-protein nitrogen metabolism and acetylcholine, content of lipid peroxidation products as well as cytochrome P450 and b5 in rat tissues under the influence of ethyl- and propylamine aliphatic amines and sodium selenit. Methods - polyarographic, biochemical and statistical. Novelty - Inhibitive effect of ethyl- and propylamine on rapidity of oxidative phosphorilation processes in mitochondria is found out. It is confirmed with the reduction of ADP phosphorylation as well as respiration control and phosphorylation. Under ethyl- and propylamine influence the catalase and SOD blood activity is changed in rat as well as xanthineoxidase and cholinesterase activity of liver, content of TBA-active lipid peroxidation products and cytochrome P450 and b5 in tissues are reduced. Preliminary injection of sodium selenite solution in rat prevents negative influence of lower aliphatic amines on oxidative phosphorylation processes in mitochondria as well as changes in activities of enzymes of anti-oxidative protection of lives and blood; it also normalizes content of cytochrome P450 and b5 in microsomic fraction of liver. Results obtained demonstrate the important mechanisms of toxic influence of lower aliphatic amines on animal organism and can be the theoretic background for development of efficient prophylactic and treatment preparations.. Results of researches - are used in scientific process and research work. Branch - biochemistry.
