Essay

Electromagnetic and thermal processes in DC magnet. Improvement of drive DC magnets and choice of their rational parameters for KM-26-series rotary AC contactors. Numerical methods of magnetic field and winding heating calculation, methods of experiment planning theory. A drive DC magnet with a transverse-motion armature and ferromagnetic shunts in operating clearance and a magnetic-freezing electromagnet and its AC control systems are designed. A 2D analytical model of transverse-motion armature magnets' magnetic systems is developed, static traction moment dependences on magnetic systems' geometrical parameters are obtained. Recommendations on magnetic systems' rational parameters and winding data choice are worked out to allow power, winding wire and permanent magnet material consumption decrease. Results are implemented in educational process and "ENAS" corporation. Electric apparatus building.
